Almost every home appliance that is used by residents can be turned into a smart device. In other words, a smart device would provide consumers with feedback based on collected information from monitoring. The smart home shares data using an internal network. The most important part of the smart home concept is to have at least one smart control system.
In the last decade, the Smart Home concept becomes more popular, and it started to grow rapidly due to consumer security, safety, and energy consumption needs, which is the major driving force. According to Figure 2, the global smart home market will be worth 54.45 billion dollars by 2022.

The bar chart explains the significant global market growth in the next five years. Thus the demand for smart home solutions will grow, and more devices will be manufactured. There are different manufacturers available who are specializing in smart home solutions (e.g. Samsung, Philips, Panasonic, Nest, and others). The package that companies offer it contains, product (smart device) and service (monitoring).
